This Privacy Policy applies to the website at celebrationkraft.com ("the Site"), operated by Celebration Kraft, founded by Rashina Jain in 2013. Our registered address and contact details are at the bottom of this page.
2. What information we collect
We collect the following when you interact with our Site:
- Email address — when you join the Crystal Rakhi waitlist or subscribe to our newsletter.
- Name & shipping address — only when you place an order. Until then, we do not have this information.
- Order & payment data — handled by our payment processor (Razorpay / Shopify Payments / Stripe). We never store your card details on our servers.
- Device & analytics data — your IP, browser type, pages viewed, time spent — collected via Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel for understanding how the Site is used.
- Communications — emails, WhatsApp messages, or social-media DMs you send us.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information only for the following purposes:
- To send you waitlist updates & launch notifications for the Crystal Rakhi Gift Box.
- To fulfil and ship your orders.
- To send the occasional brand newsletter (you can unsubscribe in one click).
- To respond to enquiries you send us.
- To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- To comply with Indian tax, accounting and consumer-protection laws.
4. Who we share it with
We share your data only with:
- Email-service provider (Klaviyo / Mailchimp / Shopify Email) — to deliver our emails.
- Payment processor (Razorpay / Shopify Payments / Stripe) — to process your payment securely.
- Shipping partners (Delhivery / Shiprocket / DTDC / IndiaPost) — to deliver your order.
- Analytics providers (Google, Meta) — anonymised usage data only.
- Indian government authorities — if legally required.
We never sell your data to third parties.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies for: keeping your cart, remembering your preferences, measuring traffic via Google Analytics 4, and showing relevant ads via Meta Pixel (Instagram & Facebook). You can disable cookies in your browser at any time — note that some Site features may not work without them.
6. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your account & all associated data.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails (one-click in every email).
- Withdraw consent for any data processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Security & retention
Your data is stored on encrypted servers managed by Shopify (or our chosen hosting/email providers). We retain order data for 7 years (Indian tax law). Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe.
While we use industry-standard security, no online transmission is 100% secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you within 72 hours, as required by law.
